Since 2011, we decided to get together with the kids and embark on pursuing art and all things creative as art collective, Holycrap. The kids love to draw and doodle and write all kinds of stories. And now we also go about together taking photos on our film cameras. So I suppose hanging out and collecting memories is definitely something we love to do. Continue reading
Dear beloved Singaporeans and International friends,
Today I’m not going to speak as a brand, today I am going to speak as a passionate Singaporean. Singapore has just lost a very powerful, influential and passionate man. Mr Lee Kuan Yew, our first Prime Minister and one of our founding fathers, has passed away earlier today. I am deeply sadden. Mr Lee, has taught me so much with all that he has done for our country. His actions spoke louder than his words. And when he did speak, his words were always straight from the heart, piercing right through yours. You can feel it. He led with the people in mind, he led with an incredible vision, driven with such tenacity and passion. Oh just look at where we are today. He has definitely left us all with a great nation.
Hello I’m Jerrold Yam, a final year law undergraduate at University College London, and the author of three poetry collections: Intruder (Ethos Books, 2014), Scattered Vertebrae (Math Paper Press, 2013) and Chasing Curtained Suns (Math Paper Press, 2012). What better way to turn 3 by celebrating it with the community? We were very pleased with the turn out tonight! It was great to see people enjoying themselves to the tunes of local acts – Cashew Chemists and Pleasantry as they rock the night out.
