LONDON – Carsten Höller : Decision exhibition which now runs at the Hayward Gallery Southbank Centre till the 6th of September 2015 is one that is for sure not to be missed. Playing on the idea of decision-making, uncertainties and doubt – the works left us walking away in between the grey area of knowing and not knowing. Oh and what better way to exit an exhibition than a 3-storey high slide?
We were presented with two different routes to enter the exhibition. Both were dark winding corridors – felt like you were walking through a ventilation duct – it gets darker and slightl claustrophobic. ^ Decision Corridors is Carsten Höller’s way of letting visitors to transit from the real world to the topsy-turvy world within.
^ Flying Mushrooms
^ Pill Clock is a timepiece that drops a red and white pill every 3 secs onto the floor.
^ The Forests – dual screen video on a 3D headset
^ Two Flying Machines allow visitors to simulate flight on the roof of Hayward Gallery with a view
^ Two Roaming Beds – robotic twin beds roaming around the exhibition floor like a pair of restless, insomniac twins
^ Upside Down Goggles – boy was it an experience! New way to experience London’s skyline.
Be sure to check out the exhibition now running till 6 Sept 2015 at the Hayward Gallery, Southbank Centre, London.
